Ah ha ha! I'm first.

Looks good Damon. Is there any chance you will be giving a running commentary on the photos or are you just gonna talk about them here when people ask? When you showed these to me earlier some of them had really interesting stories.

I wonder if anyone will actually comment on the thing that I won't give away but is quite noticeable if you look at all your pics. :P

Um, it was too much work to just get the pictures named and up Mo, so I think I'll save the stories for after people have asked. After all, there's a story behind almost every one of the 290-odd pics.

I should also mention that there are some places that were neat but that I don't have a lot of photos of: Berlin, for example, was too much fun for me to stop to take a pic; no good pictures came from Amsterdam as well, unfortunately. In many cases I have other sources of info than pictures (Scandinavia, which was awesome, is mostly represented by postcards, which I don't think I'm allowed to scan in). So you'll all have to visit to get the full story :)

Aan, yes, I did meet the Pope, I have the pictures to prove it! I have to admit, though, that whatever you're talking about is not at all obvious to me *grin*

Haven´t looked at all the pictures yet (I´m in an internet cafe because my computer died and isn´t fixed yet) but I have to say this - I love the Ankara police basement photo, hehe !!!

The obvious thing is something you once told me/complained to me about, namely a fear of people noticing something if/when you'd post all your pictures...

It must be about the lack of changes of clothes, because I'm not wearing the ugly hat in any of these pictures (although you can see its shadow in Ephesus on the ancient advertisement).

So yeah, I meant the "all" as "after having looked at them all", not that it would be evident in every single one.

Well, it was either bad haircut or a comment on the size of your feet...both made up guesses, of course.

You shoudl Realy see your own Country before you go of and have fun in another. Can you honestly tell me that you have been to gore?

Damon is something of a fount of knowledge on Gore. Just two weeks ago he was telling me all sorts of interesting details on the various forms of entertainment available in that most exciting place. Surely this means that he has actually been there himself?

(I myself only passed through Gore by bus on a random sunday morning, so I didn't have a true idea of what it was like.)

Heh, I'm surprised people are still hanging around here! The poster of the weird comments, Aan, is one of my brothers, and believe it or not it all actually makes sense. He's quoting a jumble of Simpsons, Lord of the Rings MTV Awards parody, and local comedians.

Incidentally, I am going on another trip! Not travelling around as much this time, but I will hopefully be providing trip reports and various (not-so-)witty observations just as I did for the European / Asian thing. In a couple of months, for a couple of months...
